Funny thing is we did that growing up. I think my mom wanted another child (since at 23 they were told she couldn’t get pregnant). We always did kids around my age or my brother’s. I remember 1 kid we took right back. Don’t remember why. It was always during the summer. Don’t know how many kids we had. Then mom got pregnant when I was 11 (she was 39). I hadn’t thought about that in a long, long time. A cousin brought it up when I was back in Austin in March. She remembered that we had foster kids. Wow. Will add this to my long-term prayer list. : )
